sleeping bodies. They lie still and
unmoving, never making a sound.
Light gray shadows lengthen
and soften the hard gray tombs.
The trees, naked and unashamed,

on faded lines on paper
what you feel
towards the one at your side
who always tries and never fails
to spread a smile across your cracked
canvas of a face.
Speak
in softened tones
of a love that will never die.
That will be remembered
through out the ages
as it is in the story book lies

Touch
the blushing cheek
of the mortal being next to you
that silently counts blessings
just to be
by you
with you.
Believe
in your heart of hearts
that this love will never die
and make come true
your dreams
that seemed
to live only in your sleep.
